MEET FRITZ: Howdy! Come sit a spell, while I tell you about our FRITZ, a handsome 5.5 year old, 16.5 lb red dapple. He has the body of a Tweenie and the soul of a cowboy from the old west. FRITZ is a hard worker...he goes out to the barn to check on the rescue horse to make sure he is settling in alright. Not one for lazing around too much (though little is ok), FRITZ enjoys a good long walk and will definitely see to it that you keep on any exercise routines that you've set up for yourself. At the end of a hard day's work, FRITZ enjoys a bit of country music and cuddlin with his family. Finally, like most men of the ole west, FRITZ is a well-mannered dog of few words, though he can make himself understood when he needs to. He'd be the first to tell you he loves to love and is looking forward to snuggle time with his new forever family. How about it, folks? Is our cowboy FRITZ just the little doxie you'd like to snuggle around the camp fire with? Note from ODR, Inc.: Like many a fella from the ole west, Fritz is also a hunter, so his new home must be cat and small animal free and have a fenced yard. OUR CRITERIA (aka the Fine Print): Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN WITH YOUR LITTLE RESCUE: All our dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Pyrantyl, nails trimmed, and dental when needed. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give FRITZ a happy, carefree life again?
